      great – Used this cooler last summer for first time, the only thing is no remote, but I knew that when I got it, it works well, and is quiet, I had no issues with it, works well for one room, as it says, I like it better than swamp cooler that I have, I just need it for a small space. good deal for me!

      Cheap, small and simple – I have a small bedroom that I use as a workshop, with various tools that generate heat. (For example, a 3D printer.) While the extra heat is handy in the winter, it’s brutal in the summer. I felt it was high time I worked in comfort, and so I looked for the lowest priced air conditioner I could find on Amazon, which turned out to be this unit.

      It ain’t half bad – Of course like all, I too, was very skeptical of another amazon basic product. Surprisingly, it is out performing my expectations and was simple enough to install just like all other window ac units. Blowing cold air and plenty of options on cold and speed adjustments, there is always a “BUT and here it is. But the unit does not come with an “auto” switch, this part kills me, especially for affordability. I use this unit in my micro-greens room and it is doing what I want it to do except to conserve energy once the room is a at a comfortable temperature of 67 degrees F. So, for that I will knock it down a star, sorry amazon.

      Instructions? Hahahaha – Ok- this actually cools great, is light weight and such but the knobs are not marked you have to look up the symbols in book which is a nice thick several language one. After having one side not fit (the bottom foot) into my window ledge because of a screw point on the a/c I accepted the 1/4 inch off angle and the rest worked out ok. I’m an artist- things not right like that drive me nuts. The knob system is not right, the instruction manual is overly written to the point of just being confusing and I just have to laugh at it. The little a/c cools our tiny bedroom fine but doesn’t seem to turn on and off with temp reaching- hmmmm
