Does keep the air out – It does what it is designed to do. It goes on relatively easy. The fit wasn’t exactly perfect but it was sufficient enough to cover the front of the AC and provide efficient blockage of air entering from the front of AC.

No opening for the cord – This cover doesn’t have an opening for the cord. So one side is not as snug. Other than that seems to keep the cold out except on the bottom where the cord.

Easy to install and top quality – I love this AC cover so much I’m going to purchase a second one. I have included 3 pics. I purchased the 17 x 13 x 3 size. I just got done covering my unit. I am very impressed with the thickness of it, especially compared to the previous cover I was using. I am a 70 year old woman and I had no trouble installing this cover myself. There are two cords (one on each side) of the cover that you pull to tighten the cover over your AC unit. But here is the real GEM… This company also gives you a separate heavy duty elastic type cord that you put around your unit to secure the cover even more. After I put the AC cover on and tightened it down, I had no trouble putting the separate elastic cord to the back of my unit as well as a double measure. You should be able to see this cord separately in 2 of my side view photos. I’ve been covering my AC unit indoors for 17 years and this is the easiest cover to use and the highest quality.
