      Received a Refurbished Unit – I received a refurbished unit even though I requested a new one. The unit works and I have contractors waiting on it so I’m keeping it, but I’d use a different seller

      Window unit to heat and cool – I am completely satisfied with this unit. I controls the space at the set temperature well.

      Not great cooling. Poor user interface. – I replaced a 30 year old Kenmore with this AC/Heater wall unit. I thought it would be a significant upgrade. It wasn’t. It’s barely quieter and the cooling of my 300 sq ft room takes hours. The remote control user interface is poor – for instance it only shows current temperature in the room if in “Follow me” mode, and the unit itself never shows the actual room temp. Too expensive to uninstall and return, but if I knew then what I know now, I wouldn’t have bought it.

      Skip this brand – Save yourself the money and aggravation and do NOT buy this air conditioner. It’s the absolute worst. The first one that arrived had a malfunctioning coolant system. I made the mistake of having it installed into the wall and sealed in before turning it on. Only the fan worked, which led to a couple days of mid summer, mid-80’s humid misery and then having to literally go stay elsewhere until the replacement unit arrived. Of course I was not reimbursed the contract work for paying 2x installation fees. The replacement unit was tested before installation and it worked, however it’s been less than 6 months and there is now an unbearable rattling sound with the fan and I have a feeling it’s about to completely break apart. My last unit lasted over a decade before finally breaking down. This unit is complete and total junk.
